Hey same here, just learned how to do them today. You'll need Photoshop to change the contrast of a picture and Illustrator to turn it into Vector art. http://www.creativepro.com/story/feature/1...tml?cprose=3-46 But my copy of Illustrator uses a button under 'Object' called 'Live Trace' instead of Auto Trace as spoken about in the link above. Unless there is a auto trace button which I've yet to find. I'm still learning though. I want to do Vector art for t-shirts. Hope that helps somewhat.
