ive liked this guy in my class since the first day of school and today my friend finally trusted me enough to tell me who she likes and of course, it had to be the same guy. we arent really good friends we just met this year. what should i do?

go for it! love isnt about what others think or how others feel. its just about how you feel, && how he feels about you! if you both decide to let eachother go for it, then what? neither of you will end up getting anything.
