ive liked this guy in my class since the first day of school and today my friend finally trusted me enough to tell me who she likes and of course, it had to be the same guy. we arent really good friends we just met this year. what should i do?

i have the same exact situation but its not one friend, its two! ive known one of them for one year and the other for two years. they`re my closest friends...and they just met him the begining of the skool year and ive met him since 7th grade...bieng the shy person that i am really sucks. i want to let him know that i like him...but i just cant get the word out..and my other two friends are like the coolest person ever. they can really open up. and i dont know wat to do either..but i guess its his decision, but at the same time yu`re gunna get hurt if he chooses your friend. so its better to tell him now.
