I have submitted many layouts. And many of them get rejected. I understand that rejection is a natural part of learning, but I can't really learn if all I get in the rejection notice is, "It does not meet the minimum standards". I think it would be better if you had a topic that described what you're looking for in a submitted layout. That way anybody that wants to submit a layout can look at it and see what you're looking for, and you don't have to personally tell each member what you didn't like if they get rejected. Just a thought, and now I'm done. happy.gif

The mods and I have been working on a list to explain our minimum stardards of skin approval. When I find time, I will post these for viwing but for now...

Good
clean and uncluttered design
readable text
pleasant and suitable color scheme
clear theme
originality
reasonable loading time
balance between graphics and text
easy navigation
consistency

Bad
poor organization
overuse of scripts
poor quality images
jocked images
misaligned elements
inappropriate/offensive theme
broken images
tacky text or image effects
too bright or busy background image
double scrollbars
mulitple fonts, sizes, and colors
