I think Rooney is definately one of the best bands ever. If you think so, too, post your little heart out!
Yes, this is indeed the band that appeared in an episode of the O.C. (I didn't discover them then, I'm proud to admit) Yes, this is the band featured in The Princess Diaries. Michael Moscovitz, a.k.a. Robert Shwartzman, is Rooney's beloved Robert Carmine (he changed his name for the band) Yes, Carmine's brother, Jason Schwartzman, was in the movie Rushmore and the former percussionist in Phantom Planet. Yes, Jason and Robert's mother, Talia Shire, was Adrienne in the Rocky movies and was in the Godfather films. Yes, their grandfather, Francis Ford Coppola, did direct the Godfather movies. It's not that I don't want Rooney to be recognized, and I'm not a fan, so that's not the issue, it's just starting to get on my nerves that a band will be mentioned and 15 people will say that they heard of them from the OC. It's not Rooney that's bothering me, it's the developing patterns
