I think Rooney is definately one of the best bands ever. If you think so, too, post your little heart out!
Yes, this is indeed the band that appeared in an episode of the O.C. (I didn't discover them then, I'm proud to admit) Yes, this is the band featured in The Princess Diaries. Michael Moscovitz, a.k.a. Robert Shwartzman, is Rooney's beloved Robert Carmine (he changed his name for the band) Yes, Carmine's brother, Jason Schwartzman, was in the movie Rushmore and the former percussionist in Phantom Planet. Yes, Jason and Robert's mother, Talia Shire, was Adrienne in the Rocky movies and was in the Godfather films. Yes, their grandfather, Francis Ford Coppola, did direct the Godfather movies. I think me, like most people, are just too lazy to look for bands. There are way too many out there - some are so amazingly talented but just haven't had enough exposure. If you like Rooney so much, wasn't it a good thing that they got to be on the OC, so that others could hear their music?
