ive liked this guy in my class since the first day of school and today my friend finally trusted me enough to tell me who she likes and of course, it had to be the same guy. we arent really good friends we just met this year. what should i do?

wow how this sound a lot like my situation...
well my friend is much closer to me than you have described above..but anyways..I backed out this triangle relationship seeing that I consider her as my friend. Psh, and later I found out that they did went out together.. - -''.. I think you should choose whether you want to become closer to this new friend of yours. As anubis said, decide whether keeping a new friend or the new guy is more important to you. I would rather choose to have a friend that a guy who you don't even know if he feels the same way about you. And psh, guys..we can always find another,right?
