I think there was a topic about this but I just want to add more to it.

First, do you agree with people dating outside their race?
Do you feel if they do, they are sort of betraying their own race?
What race do you prefer?
Would you ever date someone who wasn't of your background?

Me, I've never dated anyone who was Portuguese or Caucasian. I've dated only Black and Hispanic guys. I find nothing wrong with it.
I have this friend who is Indian and he says he will never date anyone who wasn't Indian. And his parents don't allow it either.

so since I'm half black, 1/4 chinese. and 1/4 italian you are saying that if I date someone who is not the exact above, that I am betraying my race? thats bullshit. Why is it betrayal? Why isnt it just preference. I mean, the only family I know is white, so should I only date white people? I mean honestley, its not saying you think your own race isnt good anough for you. Its saying, I find this person attractive, or charming, or whatever, and I want to spend the rest of my life with them. Regardless or color. I'm not saying, ugh, I hate my race, I need to find someone thats not like me. thats stupid. And if you think of it that way, then you are stupid. Open your eyes and take a look around you. We all started from the same place. SO what does it matter if we look diffenert now. We only look different because our ancestors moved to different parts of the world, and spent a lot or no time in the sun. Thats it. If you stick us in a fire, we all burn the same way. And if you cut us, we all bleed the same blood. So how is it betrayal? Just think about that. Its doesnt make sense. Are you telling me that if you hit it off with a person, of another race, and fell in love, you would date, them, but marry someone you didnt really love just because they are your same race? You are going to live a miserable life buddy. OH!! and lets say I'm black for a point. I personally don't like guys with big lips. Most black men have big lips. So am I betraying my race because I don't want to wake up every morning staring at a pair of big lips for the rest of my life. uurrrggghhh. I could go on all day.
