That way they don't use up valuable real estate that could be used by law abiding people and it would be a lot tougher for the criminals to escape.

^ Yeah. That's what I was thinking.
I think it's a terrible idea. If prisoners escape, whoop-dee-doo. Once they commit a crime or even before then, the criminal will be caught. At least in prisons above ground, you get some sunshine and fresh air. |
