well, as julia stated, tommorow is september 11th. so my question is, what was your 9/11 memory? by this, i mean, where were you when you found out? what else happened that day? here's mine:
i was in 4th grade. it was first period or something like that. they were starting to say the morning announcements, and then our principal was like "the twin towers have been knocked down". something along those lines. the whole day i was really confuzed, because i had no clue what the twin towers were. in social studies, my teacher turned on the tv and we just watched the news, the whole period. i remember a few kids at school crying that day too >.>. when i got home that day, i turned on the tv, and every single news channel had the story on it. me and my dad talked about it for awhile, and he explained what the twin towers were and such. er- yeah. that was my 9/11. what was yours? |

I was in 4th grade, and I lived in New Jersey at the time.
I went to school, as usual. Nobody knew what happened. And we just go to school when it happened. Throughout the day, nobody knew what happened. Not even the principal. And then when all of us got home, we were all happy. And then my mom went up to me and told me to quickly come inside. She explained to me what happened, and I didn't believe it easily. And then she showed me to the television. She flipped through every channel. It had the same thing. The planes crashing, twin towers burning, people dying, dust everywhere. I just stared at it, and thought nothing. Then when I came to school the next day, everyone was crying. I showed no emotion. It seemed like I didn't care. Now every time I go to new York and see where the Twin Towers were, I just stare blankly at it. I never knew that I would never get to go inside it. I see nothing there at all. And people walk pass by it and I look at their expressions. No emotion. And still I don't give any emotion at all. |
