I got my nose pierced a few days ago, and anyway, I was wondering if I can change the stud? I don't see what's so wrong about putting in a new one. I don't know what can happen if you change it to quickly. You guys have any idea? Or do you think I can change it and not be at risk for any issues? Thanks!

As far as I know, It can get infected because you're exposing a wound to open air. Bacteria is in the air....therefore, bacteria exposed to wound. 2nd, you hafta make sure the new one you're putting in is sterilized really well, and really, when you put your fingers on the new ring you're going to put in, that already puts bacteria and all that fun stuff on it.
