well, as julia stated, tommorow is september 11th. so my question is, what was your 9/11 memory? by this, i mean, where were you when you found out? what else happened that day? here's mine:
i was in 4th grade. it was first period or something like that. they were starting to say the morning announcements, and then our principal was like "the twin towers have been knocked down". something along those lines. the whole day i was really confuzed, because i had no clue what the twin towers were. in social studies, my teacher turned on the tv and we just watched the news, the whole period. i remember a few kids at school crying that day too >.>. when i got home that day, i turned on the tv, and every single news channel had the story on it. me and my dad talked about it for awhile, and he explained what the twin towers were and such. er- yeah. that was my 9/11. what was yours? |

i was out in NJ, my grandma had westnile
i woke up to my grandpa blasting the TV really loud and it said a plane had just hit world trade center one and then like 20 minutes later a second plane had just hit. I repeat a second plane hit. me and my aunt were downstairs watching. i was worried about my mom because she was at the hospital which was just right across the river from the world trade center. she saw the smoke. she just missed the second plane hitting. we went there later and we could see smoke still coming from the site. my aunt broke down alot and so did mom. i didnt. i remember that night after it happened we didnt hear any planes going ahead because she lives close to Newark. It really scared me because i new something big was gonna change everyones lives. it was just really weird because no one was out at all and then a couple days later like at night we drove by the train station and there were a whole bunch of cars there. we knew those people were dead after that |
