well, there's this guy in my class. i just started actually talking to him a few days ago... i never really had the courage to go up to him and talk, because i'm really shy and end up saying things i don't really mean. by that i mean, i totally freeze and become mean. whenever i like a guy, i ignore him, i can't help it.
anyway, i started talking to him, and i can't help but notice that he's so sweet and funny. and well, just charming. we met eyes during class today, and i couldn't help but feel those butterflies. i don't know him so much, but i want to. if i do get to know him, i'll see if this is just a crush or maybe something else. the thing is, he's confusing in. he seems to be eyeing this other girl, and well, they seem to have a connection. or maybe i'm just imagining. i know, i sound like a ditzy freshmen with another meaningless crush. but i have to admit, i'm not sure what this is... do i like him... or maybe it is just a crush. anyway, the question is, how can i get his attention? i want to be myself, but i want him to see me. |

I'd say you just have a crush on him. Liking him is definately the same thing.
If you think it's something else, I'm sorry, but you're wrong. There is only lust at first sight, not love. Love only comes after you get to know someone. When you get to know this guy and possibly go out with him, your feelings should deepen, but they may not be love. When you're in love, you'll know it. It's like you've been underwater your whole life and you finally take your first breath. You'll know when it's love; love knows no doubts. Puppy love does. Okay, sorry about the love lesson...
