I know some people are tired of hearing about Hurricane Katrina over and over again, and I know there are other topics on it, but I was wondering how Katrina has affected you as individuals.
For example, gas prices, that affects everyone. Tell how Katrina has affected you and/or your friends and relatives. [EDIT] Another point just sorta popped in my head, how is this going to effect the future? Inflation.... Increase in food prices..... more poverty....... Life without oil *gasp* ... |

YES! I'm in Texas..and at our school we had ~2200 kids already. Add more..and it's just going to be..well..horrible. Our hallways are narrow..and if you were to trip..you wouldn't be able to get up. blah. Gas is a nightmare...obviously. But it was going to go up anyways. I'd also have to say that the teachers political views have come out. In 3 of my classes we're have these "discussions", although they've only gone left ![]() Eh. That's me. I sound like i'm complaining. I'm not. I'm just trying to..oh idk. |
