I know some people are tired of hearing about Hurricane Katrina over and over again, and I know there are other topics on it, but I was wondering how Katrina has affected you as individuals.
For example, gas prices, that affects everyone. Tell how Katrina has affected you and/or your friends and relatives. [EDIT] Another point just sorta popped in my head, how is this going to effect the future? Inflation.... Increase in food prices..... more poverty....... Life without oil *gasp* ... |

it has zero affect on me....all it has done is give florida a little rain her and there...my mom works as a excutive manger for a gas station...so gas isnt a problem....and well we gave money to the redcross thats all..well about my friends...it has affect them from seeing me...they live kinda far..so thats all

Well, Texas is right by Lousiana, so we did get a thunderstorm and the electricity went out (right in a school event). We have quite a few kids from New Orleans that are in our classes. |
