I'm trying to finish this essay on the character development of Tom in the short story Content of a Dean Man's Pocket... you've probably never read it but that is not important....
Ok so if this is my three part thesis statement "By the end of the story, he is no longer ambitiously materialistic, __________, or carelessly ungrateful." I need to fill in the blank. I'm trying to find word that would describe this guy as sticking to his decisions and not being very spontaneus.. sorta over planning... bleh. Help. Please. I'd be eternally grateful. I've had a very long day and this is due tomorrow... I just need some help thinking in this one spot. |
