Because the majority would rather like to keep ignorance and the values that Bush made up rather than start new ones and go for more.... "liberal" opinions and beliefs.

Oh, and if he wasn't re-elected, America would have a hard-ass time deciding what they should do with the situation in Iraq.
Main point: America needs a leader. Doesn't matter what kind; just America's pop. is very dependent on one.
