Sorry to bump up such an old topic, but...

I LOVE THIS BOOK. It's a collection of essays that David Sedaris has written for magazines like GQ, Esquire, etc. They're all hilarious stories about random events from his childhood and adult life. It's a good read because it makes you laugh at some insignificant events, but if you look closely, they're metaphors that teach us life lessons.

One of my favourites is "Full House", where the kids give "titty twisters" to the wimpy boys at the sleepover.
QUOTE
She and her husband lumbered up the stairs, and when Walt felt certain that they were asleep, he pounced on Dale Gummerson, shouting, "Titty twister!!!" Brad Clancy joined in, and when they had finished, Dale raised his shirt, revealing nipples as crimped and ruddy as the pepperoni slices littering the forsaken pizza box.

Another one of my favourites is "Blood Work", where he works as a cleaner and the guy who hired him mistook him for a cleaner at an erotic housekeeping service. The part with the vacuuming and the fat guy masturbating to a gay porn movie was hilarious.

Pick it up!
