We didn't start AR until second grade. I was really into the boxcar children books that year.

My kindergarten teacher was like that. It was at a different school than I went to for the rest of the time, and the rest of the class was behind me and she kept foricing me to read BOB books, even though i could do it easily

OMFG. BOXCAR. I START READING ONE OF THESE BOOKS WHEN I WAS A 4th-5th GRADER.
I FORGOT THE TITTLE OF THE BOOK THOUGH ..

They have shitload of collections.

I liked that book. I read it volunteerily i 8th grade when I still had the fore mentioned attention span

I'm trying to write a paper on why school should start later. I can't conentrate. I'm blaming it on school starting so damn early

- There are people who are afraid of waking up early in the dark morning to eat breakfast or prepare for school.

- The day before school starts at 8:00, a lot of family members makes lots of noise at night/evening while the student are still focusing doing challenging homework because it takes the whole day. (struggling)


- They end up not finishing their homework but they plan to finish their homework on the next day. When the next day happens, students do not have much time to complete their assignment. If they plan to finish their homework after school starts, it’ll affect their record. The more they are use to doing that, the school would be disappointed. More student wonder why that person did not attend school on time so they ask questions. Teacher and staff would overheard them and enforce new strict rules of attending classes late such as detention, lose privileges, lose recess, and allow you not to participate field trip for being late 10 times. (My school does that, what a f**ker.)

- Students still have enough time to finish copying answers from other students. (It’s much quicker to finish homework).
