a quick question...does anybody who uses cPanel X know how to chanqe the chmod for a file?

Yes, I'm sure he "can" do it in his FTP client, but, that's not what he's asking.
Yes, you can change the file permission in your cpanel. Now, I don't know what type of cpanel your host runs, but on mine... All you do is, go to your file manager, click the file. And at the top right I see.. - Show File - Delete File - Edit File - Change Permissions - Rename File - Copy File - Move File In which, you would click the "Change Permissions". Hope this helps you out. |
