The dirty snow of summer time Lost love and unspoken rymes Dreams wilting in the rain Hearts lost at sea Souls dieing of pain The darkening sky of a sunny day Wishes crushed Hope has gone so far away Thinking of you Tears flowing from my eyes Panicking I don't know what to do The withering of flowers in the spring Words no spoken Things not said I miss you I'm lonly Lifeless souls lying in bed Sunny days and stary nights My prince charming has arrived The second you The trustworthy friend Tears gone Wishes fullfilled Oh how my heart thrives Love gained Love lost What shall i do? Will you know? Will you care No, Yet nothing can stop me... Stop me from loving you |

I feel an all-consuming sense of hopelessness when I read this. The piece is so effectively written that I feel the pain of a co-dependent, first person, sense of loss after reading this. The second "you" only serves to set up the next inevitable fall. How tragic!
True bliss is never found outside the self. The perspective of this piece guarantees there will be a series of these in the immediate future. |
