Homophobes. Cannot stand them. Or at least, the ones who decide to use "gay" to describe every flippin thing. I've slipped out the word "fag" 2 times the entire summer, and that's only because when I learned that word, I learned the menaing as a really stupid person. It's gotten to the point, where now I am going to reply anything those type of people say with, "O-M-G! That is sooooooooooooooo straight!" Just because that pisses them off.

Does anyone else do this kind of thing?

^ In what way isn't it true?

People are narrow-minded -

I know I can't make a generalization of EVERYONE, but a lot of people don't like the idea of homosexuality. People are used to males with females. That's the mainstream. Anything but the mainstream is well .. 'weird' and not very socially accepted. Anyone who thinks this way is narrow-minded to some extent and some are more or less willing to accept homosexuality or anything non-mainstream.

You can't change what people think -

Most of the time, it's extremely hard to get someone to realize they're wrong and that you're right. People naturally think they're right all the time and don't easily just say "Oh, you win. I'll just change my opinions. Thanks." Especially if they have a really strong opinion. Many anti-homosexuality activists will NOT even budge their opinion and people who use 'gay' or 'fag' as a casual word will probably just shrug off what you say. However, I used to say that, but when my cousin told me to stop, I realized what I was doing was entirely ignorant and I did end up stopping. But that was because I came to that conclusion on my own.

Eh.. did that clear anything up?
