[COLOR=purple]well the thing is that..i've never really thought about going out but as i see more and more couples and things...i feel weird becuz the truth is that i dont get asked out very often..and its starting to make me feel unattractivE? yea i probably sound like a baby..but i do't know..have u guys ever felt this way and if u did what did u do about it???

Everyone matures at different rates, and in different aspects. A person could have the most mature body ever, but not be in the same mindset. Likewise, a person could have the maturity of a 20 year old, but still be trapped in a body that looks like a preteen. Age is just a number, and it really has little to do with maturity.
I don't know for sure how old you are, but judging by your situation and profile, it sounds like you're just going through puberty. It could be your mind or your body that hasn't quite reached full maturity yet, or both, or neither. Anyway, puberty is when you start becoming very self concious, and it's normal. Believe me, deep inside, very few people feel truely beautiful. My point is, it's fine to be self concious, it's part of growing up. Don't compare yourself to anyone else, you could be drop dead gorgeous but it's always the sleazy girls who get the most guys. Bottom line: Feel good about yourself. The confidence will radiate, people will feel it, and you'll have guys groveling to go out with you. |
