is it possible to form a good solid friendship with your ex? if so, how long did it take?
i'm still working on it but then again it has been barely two weeks. |

Yeah, it's possible.
It usually depends upon how the break-up went. If you endured a bitter break-up, then the chances of a good friendship aren't as high. It's very possible, but you have to work hard for it. If you went through a nice and smooth break-up, then you may already be friends again. However, if you're not, you still have to work for it, but not for as long....usually. As for how long it takes.. It varies. I can't really say. Also, one thing I'd like to add: It is a two-way street. You have to try and your ex has to try in order for there to be a successful friendship between you two. You can't expect your ex to do all the work. I'm not saying you are, but I'm just making it clear that it's a two-way street. You both have to put out and try in order for it to work. |

You both have to put out and try in order for it to work. exactly what i was going to say. it could take a while. i'm not good friends with any of me ex's but i talk to them once a while. theres no awkwardness or anything because none of us have feelings for each other like that anymore. i think its kind of iffy to be GOOD friends with your ex because you once shared those feelings for him.. yadee yadee. just let time do the work, i think. |
