Um.. I think it's pointless to go to a convention about anime cartoons. What are people going to do? Dress up like Sailormoon or Tohru and run around hugging people?

QUOTE(AkaRyux @ Aug 20 2005, 2:00 PM) Um.. I think it's pointless to go to a convention about anime cartoons. What are people going to do? Dress up like Sailormoon or Tohru and run around hugging people? Youve obviously never been to one. Theres litterally so much to do its impossible to do it all. I went to Anime Weekend in Atlanta, and it was amazing. They were showing anime in some rooms, for your viewing pleasure. They had cosplay contests, AMV contests, they had interviews with dubbing actors, they had card games, DND games, video game tournies, dealer booths where you could buy anything from a harry potter scarf to hentai to swords, and of course they had other booths where people advertised stuff and sold their own drawings and things like that, plus tee shirts and various anime "props" like Miroku's staff and the like. And thats just everything I saw on my way from one end to the other. There was so much more that went on through the night that I didnt get to see. |
