what do you when u feel like, youre losing your best friend? Options

i dont know what it is. its just that it feels like me and her arent best friends anymore. i mean we still talk and everything but it just feels so different.

like she used to call me up every single day and we could talk and laugh really hard for hours. now she doesnt call me at all and when i call her, our conversations seem all dull and theres tons of silences.

i remember before the second i signed on AIM, shed IM me. i mean..i dunno, i just want to see if shed still do that so i wait a while for her IM. but then she never does, so i just give up and IM her. and even THATS not the same. on AIM we used to have lots of fun convos where we would go like "AHAHAHHA" a lot cause it was so funny. now its just a bunch of "lol .. i see" and stuff like that.

and the way she acted with me before, she treated me like i was the best friend ever. we even said that we'd try to be friends as long as possible and that we'd be very careful so nothing bad would happen to our friendship.

and we've only been friends for not even up to a year yet. only like, nine months. and it already feels like we're barely friends.

i mean i dont want this to keep happening to me. this whole 'having a different best friend' every single year. i know that life changes and all that, but i dont want to keep changing my best friend. its just too weird

so what do i do? i know that if i talk to her it'll just make things weirder. ehhh

this happened to me recently. i told her that i need some time to think. the next day i IMed her and told her that i felt our friendship was drifting apart for some reason. i asked her if she felt that way and why. then we discussed it and now we're better then ever =)
