Friends?, my ?X?-BEST friend Options

Ever since i was two years old I was friends with this gurl. Now we're both juniors in high school...& we still talk a lot & hang out every now & then & call each other our "best friend" but i know thats not true anymore. She is sort of a "POPULAR" person that goes out of her way to make sure she stays popular(dating a football player, hangs out w/ older people, trys to run the dance team, etc.) & well i figured out about 2 years ago that we werent really best friends anymore b/c she had found new friends & a new BEST friend...so I try to find other people i can actually rely on...but every time i do another one of my friends sort of takes them away from me by getting really close to them..so then they stop being best friends w/ me So I find myself only best friends w/ my boyfriend....but sometimes i just need someone to talk to ABOUT him...& i dont feel i can trust ANYONE else anymore....what should i do???

you don't need to have a best friend. you can be close with your regular friends.

you can still be friends with that girl too, it doesn't matter what clique you tow are it. that doesn't matter. my best friend and i don't even get to see each other that much anymore because she moved away but we're still close.

you shouldn't need someone to talk to about your boyfriend...because they'll get tired of it and you should really talk to your boyfriend about the stuff that bothers you.
