I don't beleive it's bad for you. I've read alot of studies and all show that it has no effect on the average diet pop drinker. I'd much rather drink a bit of aspartame than consume alot of calaries which has been proven since hundreds of years ago is bad for you.
Time could prove me wrong. What's your veiw? |

in moderation, no.
but some people can get...well... a bit heavy on diet drinks. i know people [and myself], who drink these things to suppress hunger, and could be damaging ourselves by doing so also, don't think just because it says 'diet' on it, that it's actually cal-free. only thing free of calories is water. and uhm, calories aren't bad for you, they are nutrients. it just depends where you get them from, and how it'll affect your health--just thought i should mention that. |

QUOTE(Julie. @ Aug 31 2005, 5:08 AM) and uhm, calories aren't bad for you, they are nutrients. it just depends where you get them from, and how it'll affect your health--just thought i should mention that. Calories aren't really nutrients--they're just a measure of energy. Nutrients have calories, but calories themselves aren't really nutrients. |
