Classes for this year.. Options

I have a problem with my sched. for this year, I wasnt sure where to put this, but this is about school and stuff so i thought it would fit kinda.. Mods if you find a better place to put this, keep in mind that i wasnt sure where to put this..
anyways:
I have reading this year and i am not sure whether I want to change my sched. so I can get food science. I dont know what career i want to choose, and at my school, I can waive reading for another class, depending on my test score [ we have a standardized test here, and i have to have the results to the reading portion good enough to waive reading, I think I can do this since I am also taking spanish, which you only get if you have a good grade in language arts and a good score on the test ] .
The problem is that reading is the only class that is close to my locker, all of my classes are pretty far away, and reading is my only class that has me go to my locker. And, if i waive reading, my sched. might be changed completely around, I like my sched. [well.. except for reading. ]. I have friends in most of my classes so, what I am asking is..
should I waive reading and get food science or take reading for the year, and maybe take food science next year?

Hmm, I think this might belong in the Lounge better since it isn't exactly homework...
But I think you should just stay with reading, since you like your schedule. Just take food science next year.
