Perfect Literacy Online, does it matter? |

Yeah, couldn't think of any creative choices for the poll, but do you think it matters to type correctly online? Personally, I think it does because it seems like the people who don't 'tipe lyk dis' are a lot more .. logical than the ones that do type that way. What do you think?

I say no. I once myself was a person who didnt know how to type in words. Haha, yes. And a lot of people on the internet still don't. It's not like internet is some kind of school where you need to have good grammar all the time. Mainly, kids use it to chat with their friends and use "u" "r" "wat" "2" etc. to make it shorter because they're probably too lazy to type out the whole word. Eh, I can read it. I see no problem with it unless it doesn't make sense...

If we're so eager to make such a great impression off and online, then why don't we all stop using slang, keep out our grammatical errors, use the rules for "you and me", and talk like the big corporate bosses. Wouldn't that just make a happier world?  ...I don't think so.  We need to lighten up just a bit, but if you really have a hard time w/ reading sticky caps and l337...tell them to type normally, just for you.
