I didn't know where this should go but here we go--

WONDER HOW I GOT MY TEXT LIKE THIS?

well before i tell you, i've noticed some newbies, have needed help with text and the whole code deal. when i first joined, i didn't know how to close the brackets!

so you read to make your text elegant?

COLOR--

lets say if a person wanted there text green? ok so i'll do this [ COLOR=green] (note: space is there for a reason, please don't remove space) my green text.

it didn't turn out green did it? thats because you need to close the bracket/code (this is a bracket: [)
you'd think to close the braket you'd put [/COLOR=green] right? lets try it.
[ color=green]my green text[/COLOR=green]

as you can see it didn't work.

now, what you want to put is [/color] now lets try it.

my green text.
yay it worked. there you go, now you know how to make your text in color.

SIZE--

do you want you text a diferent size?

ok so when you wrtie in a topic, or post a topic, you have those drop down meues with the sizes you can select. to make them actully work you have to close the brackets, here is our "closing" bracket code, for size. [/SIZE]

yup. you may think it may be text[/SIZE=1] but thats not it.

have fun making your text big and/or small

FONTS--
its basicly the same as everything else. except the closing tag is [/FONT]

MORE iNFO--
tecnicly if you take one of these codes, you always close it with the word behind the first bracket. [SIZE=7] do you notice it? also begining this "Type of code we use here at cB" is like html, ascept instead of using these: < > we use these: [ ]
