excorcist stuff, question Options

okay, thinking of that movie the Excorism of emily rose and all those other excorcist movies and stories. ive always wondered, why and how do u get "possessed". i mean, it was never really explained, and the bible doesnt really answer that question either. can it just.. happen. or do you have to do something?
if this is spam....well um sorry . look at it this way today has been a "spammy" day. so if this is spam, just look at it as another spam of the day i figured this question wouldnt be answered any other way than making it a topic. plus my sister asked me the question so i thought "Hey! lets ask the people of cb! they have all the answers!"

It is true, but they add a ton of stuff to make it creepier. It's usually not THAT bad. At my church, they actuall had a kid they had to take to the priest and be exorcised. Scary.

Anyways, so far I know that. People who are trying to get closer to God. The Devil try to test that person on how far it can go to its faith. So the Devil send lots of his demons to scare that person and then posessing them. I meant "scaring them" like ruin that person's life.

No, it's kind of like... you leave yourself open to it. If you have your gaurdian angels nearby, and you kind of "utilize" them, then you aren't as susceptible. I fyou use witchcraft and such, you call the forces in, and so they just kinda take over. It's actually really hard to explain, but the devil doesn't send a legion of demons at someone increasing their faith. He does try to mess it up, tho.

Also, in the previews I've seen,they're are ppl inthe church praying that get attacked by demons. Can't happen. The devil cannot stand any kind of holy artifact, like a cross, holy water, etc. A church is ESPECIALLY bad, where the body of Christ itself is kept. If you are in a holy place, or rather, have nver been in a "cursed, demonic, evil" place, like a haunted area, and invited contact with the spirits, you shouldn't be open for possession.
