im a freshmen, and im so woried because everyone says im goin to get beat up because im not quite goth, but not normal. idk. help? post, too!

If you're Goth, shouldn't you have a lot of spiky jewelry with which to impale harassers?
I'm kidding, of course. Don't worry much about it. Goth or normal, freshmen are never popular, whether it be high school or a college campus, so there's not much to do. Just go with the flow. Best advice: be satisfied and comfortable with who you are, project an image of confidence and being "in place" (even if you feel a lack of confidence or feel like you're out of place) and act like you know where everything is, who everyone is, and are comfortable with your surroundings, and you'll be fine. |
