I can capture so much emotion within these words.
The feelings of despair.
Or perhaps the moment you're aware.
I can feel your heart beating on my back.
I clench your hand even tighter.
My heart has never felt higher.
The way you wrap your leg over my waist.
I pull the sheets farther up my chest.
I can't imagine a morning without you.
You breathing across my neck.
Life becomes almost pointless when I'm alone.
And a reason to live is what you have shown.
I can feel my toes curl.
I can hear your soft whispers.
I can feel my heart fluttering.
As I turn to kiss you, I wonder what you think.
As I raise from this place and pull up my shorts, my heart begins to sink.
Please, spare me the tears.
In that bed are my inexperienced fears.
A heartfelt goodbye wouldn't do you justice.
Lay there, forever.
