dance, ..any dancers in here? Options

any dancers on cb? of any kind. i do ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, polynesian, and used to do tap. since i was 3!..and if you think dance isnt a sport (cuz i've met a few who think that) it is indeed a sport! there was this study and dance is the 2nd most strenuous sport next to swimming

omg you are so lucky you get do all these things since you were lil >=[ wen i was lil my parents were new to vancity nd i didnt even get to go anywhere or do anything now im like 14 is it too late to start learning dance like hip hop?

I dont think it's too late... I'm 14 and I started hip hop last year. But then again, I was able to start off in an intermediate/advanced class because ive been dancing since i was 5. I still think you could join a beginner class, though. If you have friends at home who dance they could probably tell you a good place to go.

I do hip hop, jazz, and ballet, and I'm trying to add pointe this year. I think pointe shoes are so graceful and glamorous. They're painful though... both my grandmothers took pointe and they have bunyans now. I wish I could dance more often cuz I never get any exercise, but I don't have the time and each class is only an hour at my studio so it would be really expensive to add extra classes. This year I'm moving up to a more advanced class. YAY! I'm really excited! My studio was thinking of adding some kind of latin dance class this year. I don't know if they did, but it sounds really interesting. I tried salsa once in this mini course thing and it was so much fun. ^_______^

I've tried really hard to be able to do a double pirouette, but it's still pretty messy. I always hop or something. >__________< they are so HARD! Does anyone have any good tips?
