ok. im like freaking out. my friends bat-mitzvah is soon, and i have NO IDEA what slow dancing is. i feel REALLY dumb.
but yeah. and shes going to hook me up with the guy i like, and make us slowdance, but i dont know what it is//how to do that i mean, are there steps to it, or is it just dance slowly and have fun? |

Um, it depends on the kind of music. If you want to make a lasting impression, "swaying" to the music is out of the question, trust me on this
 . Go to your local Y and see if there's ballroom dancing instruction available. Classes are usually less than $15/hour at a Y and you should have an idea after one class. But, if you don't care about impressions and just want to wing it off, then sway away.  Also, if they guy is as clueless as you are about dancing, swaying is okay. You may or may not want to embarrass him by being a better dancer.
