Movie Remakes: Good or Bad? |

On the internet it said that they are remaking the 1792 Poseidon Adventure. Growing up that was one of my favorite movies and I'm actually very happy there remaking it because I want to become a screenplay writer and if they didn't remake it I would have
 However they are changing parts of the story so this got me thinking about all of the other remake movies. Are they good or bad? I like some. I thought War of the Worlds was really good but others like amityville horror blew. So what do you all think. Are film makers are running out of ideas and just trying to make a dollar or is remaking a classic for a new generation a great idea?

It really depends on el pelicula. There are good remakes and bad remakes. It also depends on whether the movie that the writers are attempting to do over was a classic. If it is, it would be almost impossible to create a movie that would equal or top the original.

Some movie remakes are not as good as the originals while others are. I saw both Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the original, and it probably wasn't as good, but it wasn't bad either. |
