Being Thai
Cons +Everyone thinks I'm Chinese, Filipino, or Taiwanese +It's not common to be a thick/fat Thai...like me nor is it really okay. +Ignorant school kids think I don't count as asian because I'm not Chinese, Japanese, or Korean && because they've never heard of Thailand so it's not on the "world map" +We're pretty short +Pale Thais burn very badly +I've never met a Thai around my age who hasn't been introduced through family +People, even principals crack the corniest jokes of my nationality about "tieing shoes" && "bow ties"  +You're either extremely skinny [most of the time] or you're outrageously huge... Pros +The spicier, the better +We're all really into family, no matter how distant or if you're re-married +We're pretty religious [Buddhist] as Thailand is 95% Buddhist +The darker Thais just tan, no sun burn +Lots of brand name products are made in Thailand, so it's cheaper there. +We can party pretty well  +Family means a lot, so if you mess w/ our cousin, mom, or sister, we will bring our family and take you down. [Errm, the younger generation that is] Whoo, I'm pooped.  That's all I can think about my pros && cons of Thais...
