I just finished the Vandread 1-2 Series. And I have to say, it's one of the best I've seen so far. It ranks up there with Inuyasha and Kenshin in my book. The whole series is different and interesting, and it throws in quite afew surprises near the end. The last few battles were picture perfect, it was beauty in spaceships :-D
I can definitely recommend this anime to anyone who likes futuristic anime. Definitely on my top 10 list! |

It's been awhile since I've seen it...But I'll try.
Distant future, many worlds across the galaxy are populated by different humanoid and non-humanoid types of beings. Our hero is a young man from an all male planet who dreams of becoming someone more important rather than just another grunt soldier. Some crazy mixup happens, and females attack a male ship and our hero and some of his compadres are forced to work with females in hopes of one day seeing there home again. On there way home they meet up with a race of non-humanoid type aliens who are hell-bent on destroying/taking over the universe.. It's really cool, defintely one of my favs, very funny futuristic comedy. |
