Florida man convicted of murdering 3-year-old "gay" son


A Florida man stands convicted of second-degree murder after killing his 3-year-old son because he thought the boy might grow up to be gay. A Tampa jury on Thursday found Ronnie Paris Jr. guilty of second-degree manslaughter and aggravated child abuse in the death of his son, Ronnie Antonio Paris. According to The Tampa Tribune, the boy was beaten so badly that he became lethargic, stopped eating, and began wetting himself. On January 22 the boy went into a coma and died six days later. Experts testified that his death was caused by blunt trauma to the head.

The child's mother, Nysherra Paris, testified that her husband was trying to "toughen up" their son because he was worried he might grow up to be gay. Nysherra Paris, who never reported any abuse until February, is charged with child neglect and faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted. Ronnie Paris will be sentenced next month, and he faces life in prison. (Sirius/OutQ)

Umm if what his dad thought was true, homosexuality is a sin. Have you never herd of gay guys (and woman) who says they have been gay since they where born. We will never know....

Talk about being a closed-minded christian uh, no. don't you realize that A LOT of people are gay? this is the year 2005, buddy. and i highly doubt that anyone is going to let other people like you tell them that they're destined for hell. Btw, you don't have the right to say that this poor, innocent child is MOST DEFINITELY burning in hell. you have no idea whether hell even exists or not. none of us do.

Amazing that I have told MANY homosexuals at our school that they are going to burn in hell for there actions. One cried, and I am only close minded on what I feel is morally wrong. The bible says its a sin to eat crab, but I do on occasion - and so do other Christians. "You may eat any kind of fish that has fins and scales, but anything living int he water that does not have fins and scales must not be eaten. Such creatures must be considered unclean."

My views on homosexuality is that its a sin, against the constitution, and in my eyes is morally wrong. It all falls down to personal beliefs, and views.
