many ppl go to summer school in the summer.. and to me it doesnt really make sense even though i went to summer school ;p its like.. school in the summer
summer-vacation school-school it does not mix o.o if its summer school y isnt it just school instead of being in the summer?

Well, I take summer school so I can be prepared for the school year. Plus, you get more studying in since you're so busy during the school year.
