i don't know if this forum already had a "did you know" topic, but i couldn't find one, so i made one ;x here's the place to share the lesser known facts about life... no matter how insignificant or trivial.

did you know that our calendar's (gregorian calendar) months were named after greek numbers 1-10? the only reason we have 12 months is because julius ceasar wanted a month named after him, and so did augustus, which is why we have july & august.
