this summer i had a situation so i know aLL about dying my hair. i was supposed to have dark blond highlights but, it came out purple so then i put a red rinse to make it red but when i got a relaxer it turned a browish/blond color. so then, we put other red rinse in and then when i went to my hairstylist to get it done she put a brown rinse to tone down the red. She told me that yea black people such as myself already do have coarse and dry hair so when you dye your hair it makes it even dryer on top of that and then when you get a relaxer thats 3x more dryness so yea she said that highlights werent for me and until it grows out she's putting rinse on my hair to tone it down...whew i got off topic but w/e
if you really want it done..just get it done by a pro. |
