Don't worry, no one's gonna tell you to use the search button unless there's already been a couple topics on it.
QUOTE but hair dyes should be the same on all types of hair Definately not. Everyone's hair is different. A dutch person's hair is much different than an asian's person's hair, or an African's hair. African hair is coarser compared to european hair, so it's much harder to dye. You'll probably need to leave the dye in longer, and/or lighten a couple times first. Dying will damage anyone's hair, but since African hair is coarser to begin with, and dying is much more extreme, the effects are much more noticable. Less permanent dyes won't damage as much, but make sure to take care of your hair and keep it well conditioned before and after dying. [Edit:] Try to use a dye especially for African hair, because most marketed dyes are for european hair. |
