i didn't see a topic made about this yet. i have never heard of it until today, really.
Mooncup, what is it? QUOTE a reusable menstrual cup around two inches long and made from soft silicone rubber. It is worn internally like a tampon but collects menstrual fluid rather than absorbing. Unlike tampons the Mooncup is not a disposable product, so you only need to buy one imo it looks uncomfortable but it is made out of "soft silicone rubber" but i don't know. i couldn't imagine inserting that, i already have issues with tampons but hey. since it is reusable, i think it might be a hassle washing it out. the whole process just seems unsanitary source: http://www.mooncup.co.uk/index.htm |

It seems like it would be messy.
Some of the testimonials are.. kind of comical ![]() QUOTE We just got ourselves a mooncup each and are skipping with joy that is mooncupness. the little bags are really cute and the liitle blue ribbons are very pretty. but the actual moncup itself looks kind of scary and medical and we think they should come in different colours and maybe with sparkles. just because something is useful doesn't mean it can't be pretty too. Other than this we think mooncups are fabulous and are currently attempting to convert all our friends to the wonder of mooncups.
p.s. would it be possible to get some more stickers. I made the foolish mistake of getting my new mooncup out to show my sister while in a bar with some friends and some of the boys decided they wanted to wear the stickers." |
