When u grow up as being known as "the fat kid" it's not very nice.. i notice if ur fat ur always picked on or teased even though u try to hide ur feelings it still hurts u. Even if u don't have sum friends u tehy way ppl look at u they just go "ew" or "whoa she's/he's so fat". No matter wut ppl pick on the fat kid. why? not like they are gonna hurt u cause they think thier so powerful. The thign is.. "chubby" ppl dun need ppl to keep telling them thier over weight. they know.

yes...it's true...i was kind of chubby in 3rd/4th grade. lol...but i wasnt made fun of too often. from my experience chubby kids are just an easy target. (usually) no one wants to be fat so they know that that is your weakness right there. it's harder to pick on thinner people because so many want to be thin...so they have to find other "problems" or "weaknesses" of that person. basically anyone with obvious 'imperfection' is more likely to be made fun of. it's sad, but true.
personally even though i was only chubby for a little while & i only had a few comments i still feel self-concious about my weight. i'm now 5'7" and 122 pounds and sometimes i still feel bad about my weight and stuff...i dunno it's just really psychologically damaging to be made fun of for weight because it's such a touchy issue these days. |
