i didn't see a topic made about this yet. i have never heard of it until today, really.
Mooncup, what is it? QUOTE a reusable menstrual cup around two inches long and made from soft silicone rubber. It is worn internally like a tampon but collects menstrual fluid rather than absorbing. Unlike tampons the Mooncup is not a disposable product, so you only need to buy one imo it looks uncomfortable but it is made out of "soft silicone rubber" but i don't know. i couldn't imagine inserting that, i already have issues with tampons but hey. since it is reusable, i think it might be a hassle washing it out. the whole process just seems unsanitary source: http://www.mooncup.co.uk/index.htm |

I don't really get it....like what if it tipped? or spilled? I'm sure it works fine if you do it right, but if you put it wrong, you could be royally screwed.

QUOTE(mai_z @ Aug 10 2005, 3:00 PM) I don't really get it....like what if it tipped? or spilled? I'm sure it works fine if you do it right, but if you put it wrong, you could be royally screwed. i don't think its possible for it to really tip or spill, it holds 30 ML of fluid. QUOTE umm that is something I dont think I would use. I mean.. what if you're in between classes and it's full? do you dump it out in the toilet? It seems like it would get messy and if I came out of the stall with blood all over my hands, that would look a little weird it does seem like a hassle but i don't think anybody would dump/rinse it out in public. besides it holds a lot already wow! they have divacups too, but they're basically the same thing. divacup |
