I searched for a topic like this and I came up with nothing...I'm pretty sure there isn't a duplicate of this.
For me, I like working by myself. For example, if we have a project at school, and I could pick between doing it myself and choosing a friend to do it with, I'd do it myself. I like working on my own better because that way, I can be sure that I won't get into any arguments on how to do a certain thing, I don't have to be worried that the other person forgot about a deadline or did something I disagreed on, and I usually get a little mad in the end if my partner(s) do less work than anyone else. I also don't want to fail my team if I slip up. When I work by myself, there's only one person to count on-me. I like being credited wholly by myself, not as a small part of something. (I know that sounds arrogant, but I'm being honest.) |

I prefer to work alone for school projects.
It is such a hassle to think about who is in the same group as you (most likely my friends), and I hate to argue with others about some stupid idea. It's a lot better to work alone so you can do your projects without affecting others and it's easier to control the time spent. |
