is it me or has mainstream hip hop gone to the dogs? because now all i hear now is rappers saying the same thing over & over again like(drugs,money,sex,etc) its kinda boring dont get me wrong but i love rap/hip hop but its just too boring underground rap/hip hop is way better they rap about other stuff besides the streets.som is underground better than mainstream
-edit- i know lately ive been tybing like a prescholler but iam trying to know how to tybe faster so bear with me... |

not that I go to clubs...just an example. yeah and I agree with the topic creator...it does seem like there's a lot of mainstream crap out there, that's why if I'm gonna listen to a mainstream artist, it's gonna be someone respectable like Kanye West and Mighty Mos, not J-Kwon and Mike Jones. the problem is (and I sound like an old hag) is that the young kids don't want the good stuff, they want the booty shaking stuff, because that's what they're mostly exposed to, and I blame BET and bad parenting for that. |
