I searched for a topic like this and I came up with nothing...I'm pretty sure there isn't a duplicate of this.
For me, I like working by myself. For example, if we have a project at school, and I could pick between doing it myself and choosing a friend to do it with, I'd do it myself. I like working on my own better because that way, I can be sure that I won't get into any arguments on how to do a certain thing, I don't have to be worried that the other person forgot about a deadline or did something I disagreed on, and I usually get a little mad in the end if my partner(s) do less work than anyone else. I also don't want to fail my team if I slip up. When I work by myself, there's only one person to count on-me. I like being credited wholly by myself, not as a small part of something. (I know that sounds arrogant, but I'm being honest.) |

It really depends on the project and who my prospective group members would be.
For small projects, I'd rather do it myself. For huge projects, I'd like to split the work up between individuals. However, if those individuals prove to be exceedingly incompetent, I'd rather work alone. |
